HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Grimsley High School for coach Pat Neal … Earned all-area and all-conference honors as a prep senior after accounting for 1,550 yards of total offense and 15 touchdowns … Rushed for 950 yards and eight scores, and put up 620 receiving yards and seven additional touchdowns … Also logged 49 tackles (14 solo) on the defensive side of the ball … Earned the Jameison Award as well … Registered 602 yards of total offense and eight touchdowns as a junior en route to all-conference nods … Also lettered in lacrosse for the Whirlies.

PERSONAL: The son of Joyce and Phil Johnston … Has three older brother – Devin, Colby and Dustin … Enrolled in pre-major studies at UNCP.
