AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Played in six games … Threw for 416 yards and two touchdowns on 47-of-92 passing with six interceptions … Also rushed for 62 yards on 17 carries … Threw for 104 yards on 16-of-41 passing with two interceptions in his first collegiate action against North Alabama … Threw for 121 yards and a touchdown on 15-of-24 passing with one interception against Catawba, while also carrying the ball three times for 27 yards … Performance included a 4-yard touchdown pass to John Rich in the first quarter, as well as a season-long 19-yard rush in the fourth quarter … Threw for 95 yards and a fourth quarter score against Valdosta State … Also carried the ball three times for 27 yards against the Blazers.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at T.C. Roberson High School for coach Jim Beatty … Earned all-conference accolades as a prep senior after passing for a league-best 2,946 yards and 33 touchdowns in leading the Rams to the conference title … Also rushed for 515 yards and four additional scores.

PERSONAL: The son of Gretchen and Darryl Pinner … Maintained a 3.78 cumulative grade point average at T.C. Roberson High School … A business major at UNCP.
