AS A JUNIOR (2013): Played in all 11 games for UNCP … Turned in seven tackles (three solo) … Registered at least one tackle against four opponents … Turned in a season-best four tackles (one solo) against Virginia-Lynchburg … Also logged a solo tackle against Fayetteville State and at defending national champion Valdosta State.

BEFORE UNCP: Played two seasons at Glendale (Calif.) Community College for coach John Rome … Earned a pair of all-conference (California Community College Athletic Association) … Recorded 44 tackles (17 solo) as a sophomore, including 2-1/2 tackles for loss … Also turned in an interception and a pass break-up.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Paso Robles High School for coach Rich Schimke … Earned second-straight all-league, all-county and all-region laurels after registering 82 tackles (36 solo) as a prep senior in leading the Bearcats to a 10-3 record and the league championship … Also registered 66 return yards (50 kickoff return yards) … Also lettered in baseball for Paso Robles … Earned all-league and all-county honors as a senior after hitting .405 with 28 stolen bases … Also earned Golden Glove accolades that season as well.

PERSONAL: The son of Nancy and Mike Plescia … Is the youngest of seven children … Has four brothers – Sean, Joey, Steven and Zach – and two sisters, Jennifer and Alicia … A criminal justice major at UNCP.
