AS A JUNIOR (2013): Played in 10 games for UNCP … Registered six tackles (two solo) … Turned in a season-high three tackles (two solo) in the opener with Winston-Salem State … Also registered tackle assists against Wingate, Catawba and Newberry.

BEFORE UNCP: Played two seasons (2011-12) at Garden City (Kan.) Community College … Played in nine games as a sophomore and logged 39 tackles (29 solo), as well as four pass break-ups … Returned three punts for 72 yards as well … Earned all-conference laurels as a freshman after registering 40 tackles and three interceptions … Tackle total also included a pair of tackles for loss.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Twiggs County High School for coach Dexter Dawson … Accounted for 534 all-purpose yards as a senior, including 476 rushing yards (53 carries) and four touchdowns … Also caught six passes for 58 yards … Also tallied 14 tackles (10 solo) and one interception … Burst onto the prep scene as a sophomore in 2009 when he rushed for 1,892 yards (203 carries) and 16 touchdowns en route to earning a pair of all-state nods and Heart of Georgia Player of the Year honors … Also registered 52 tackles and five interceptions as a two-way player that season.
