AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2016): Played in all 12 games … Recorded 35 tackles (24 solo), including 3-1/2 tackles for loss (-20 yards) … Also turned in one sack, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and three pass break-ups … Added a quarterback hurry and a blocked kick as well … Tallied multiple tackles in nine games, including a season-best seven stops (4 solo) at Lenoir-Rhyne … Grabbed a solo stop in his collegiate debut at Winston-Salem State … Logged two solo tackles, a quarterback hurry and a blocked PAT attempt at Shaw … Turned in three or more tackles in each of the last eight games of the campaign … Totaled 1-1/2 sacks (-16 yards) against Concord, while also adding a pass break-up … Also grabbed a sack in the first round NCAA Division II Playoffs game at Valdosta State.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Redshirted … Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at West Johnston High School for coach Jimmy Williams … Earned all-conference recognition as both a junior and senior … Was also a standout on the basketball and track & field teams at West Johnston.

PERSONAL: The son of Terri Strozier … Has two older brothers, Greg and Darius … Maintained a 3.1 cumulative grade point average at West Johnston High School and graduated in the top half of his 307-member senior class … A criminal justice major at UNCP.
