AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in seven games … Totaled 17 tackles (7 solo), while also turning in an interception, a fumble recovery and an interception … Also tallied a quarterback hurry … Recorded multiple tackles in five games, including a season-best five stops (season-high 3 solo) at Shaw … Turned in three tackles in his UNCP debut at Winston-Salem State … Registered one tackle in the NCAA Division II Playoffs game at North Alabama, but also registered an interception and recovered a fumble in the end zone to give the Braves a lead in the second quarter.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lake Brantley High School for coach George Clayton … Earned his team’s coach’s award as a senior after registering 62 tackles (57 solo), including 11 tackles for loss … Also tallied five quarterback hurries, one interception and a pass break-up … Compiled 47 tackles as a junior, as well as two quarterback hurries, one sack and an interception … Earned defensive player of the week as a junior as well … Also lettered in wrestling for the Patriots.
