HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Princeton High School for coach Derrick Minor … Earned all-conference honors for third-straight season after registering 157 tackles as a senior … Finished prep career with 380 stops (9.3 tackles/game) … Named defensive player of the year after each of last two prep seasons … Earned all-area nods as both a junior and a senior … Was also a standout on the track & field team for the Bulldogs … Ran a leg on the 4x100 relay team that placed third at the state championships.

PERSONAL: The son of Gina Hill and Andy Garner … Has a younger sister, Gabbi, and a younger brother, Weston … Maintained a 3.85 cumulative grade point average at Princeton High School and graduated in the top 13 percent of his 103-member senior class … Enrolled in pre-major studies at UNCP.
