HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Chapel Hill High School for coach Issac Marsh … Earned second-straight all-conference nods as a senior after throwing for 2,270 yards and 35 touchdowns on 146-of-265 passing with six interceptions … Also picked up second-straight team most valuable player award after leading Tigers to a state playoff appearance … Threw for 3,177 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior on 247-of-437 passing with seven interceptions … Earned NCHSAA Player of the Week selection and was named Chapelboro Player of the Year … Is also an all-conference performer in baseball for Chapel Hill.

PERSONAL: The son of Eileen and Bryan Stough … Has two younger brothers, Alec and Grant … Maintained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average at Chapel Hill High School … An environmental sciences major at UNCP.
