AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Played in all 10 games … Logged eight catches for 31 yards … Registered two receptions against both Concord (2 yards) and Lenoir-Rhyne (9) … Also turned  in assisted tackles against both Catawba and Tusculum … Forced a fumble against Catawba as well.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Watauga High School for coach Ryan Habich … Finished prep career with 1,355 career rushing yards (137 carries) and 17 touchdowns, as well as 1,418 career receiving yards (101 receptions) and eight scores … Earned all-conference honors as a senior after registering 1,556 yards of total offense, including 896 rushing yards (91 carries) and 13 touchdowns … Also hauled in 48 catches for 660 yards and 13 scores … Also lettered in basketball for the Pioneers.
 
PERSONAL: The son of Pamela and Dan West … Has a younger brother, Zach, and a younger sister, Laural … Maintained a 3.3 cumulative grade point average at Watauga High School … A business management major at UNCP.
