2007 (FRESHMAN): Played in six games for UNCP with four starts to his credit … Recorded a 2-2 record as a starter for the Braves … Registered a 137.64 passing efficiency rating after throwing for 715 yards on 54-of-91 (.593) passing with four touchdowns and one interception … Also rushed 18 times for five yards and an additional score … Saw backup duty to Matt Evans through first four games, but threw for a combined 86 yards on 7-of-11 passing in appearances against both Wingate and Jacksonville … Made first career start at Chowan, recording 195 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 16-of-25 passing … Threw first interception of his career in the second quarter, but completed 8-of-16 attempts for 144 yards and a touchdown against Webber International, while also rushing six times for 14 yards and an additional score … Completed 7-of-13 passes for 109 yards while nursing a nagging leg injury against West Virginia Wesleyan … Accounted for 145 yards on 16-of-26 passing while nursing same leg injury at Edward Waters before giving way to eventual starter Ryan Horton in the fourth quarter.
