AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in two games … Logged a pair of tackles (1 solo) … Tallied an assist on a tackle against Fayetteville State, and registered a solo tackle against Kentucky Wesleyan.
 
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015): Played in three games … Turned in two tackles (1 solo) … Grabbed an assist on a tackle at North Alabama, and tallied a solo stop against West Virginia State.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015): Played in three games … Registered one tackle (1 solo) and a blocked kick … Made collegiate debut in season opener with Winston-Salem State … Talled a tackle assist at North Alabama … Turned in a solo tackle and a blocked extra point attempt against West Virginia State.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Redshirted. Did not see playing time.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year starter at East Rowan High School for coach Danny Misenheimer … Earned all-county honors as a prep senior after amassing 82 tackles (64  solo), as well as 13 quarterback hurries and 11 tackles for loss … Tackles number included five sacks as well … Four-time scholar-athlete selection … Also lettered in basketball and track & field for the Mustangs.

PERSONAL: The son of Martina and Dock Corpening, Jr. … Has a sister, Devan … Maintained a 3.95 cumulative grade point average at East Rowan High School and graduated in the top 30 percent of his 213-member senior class … A biology major at UNCP.
