HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Cleveland High School for coach Scott Riley … Earned all-state, all-metro, all-conference and team most valuable player laurels as a senior after hauling in 104 passes for 1,915 yards and 24 touchdowns … Also logged four interceptions on the defensive side of the ball … Combined to tally 22 catches for 499 yards and seven touchdowns in back-to-back contests with Western Harnett (10-250, 3 TDs) and Corinth Holders (12-249, 4) … Helped lead Rams to conference championship … Was also a two-time academic all-conference selection at Cleveland.
