AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in eight gamesfor UNCP … Hauled in eight catches for 97 yards (12.1 avg.)and a touchdown, while also logging one rush attempt for two yards… Was also a force on special teams (kickoff coverage) wherehe logged four tackles (two solo) … Did most of hisoffensive damage in the season opener at Fayetteville State,catching two passes for 29 yards while also tallying his onlyrushing attempt of the season … Caught one pass against bothChowan (10 yards) and Wingate (season-long 25 yards) …Caught a season-best three passes for a season-high 33 yards atCatawba, including a six-yard touchdown reception in the fourthquarter that gave the Braves their final points.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010): Did not see varsityaction.

2009 (FRESHMAN): Played in nine games for UNCP,with a bulk of his playing time coming on special teams …Caught one pass for eight yards in home contest with SaintPaul’s.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at East Lincoln High Schoolfor coach Mike Byus … Rushed 69 times for 393 yards and apair of touchdowns, while also hauling in 42 passes for 674 yardsand three more scores in leading Mustangs to a 14-2 record,including a perfect 6-0 clip in the conference, and a spot in thestate championship game … Tallied 69 tackles, including fourtackles for loss, while also registering two sacks, four forcedfumbles and one fumble recovery … Also broke up 10 passesand tallied six interceptions … Returned three punts fortouchdowns on special teams … Named all-conference, as wellas garnered all-area honors from three different publications… Also named team most valuable player … Was also astandout on the track and field team at East Lincoln.

PERSONAL: The son of Pamela and Curtis Perry wasborn on Feb. 24, 1991 … Older brother, Curtis, is a runningback for the Braves … Has a younger brother, Preston, who isa quarterback for UNCP … Also has another older brother,Daryl … An exercise & sports science major at UNCP.
