AS A JUNIOR (2017): Played in all 10 games … Amassed a team-best 70 tackles (34 solo) … Also picked up a 12-yard interception return, one quarterback hurry and a pass break-up … Turned in five or more tackles against nine opponents, including a season-best 11 stops (5 solo) at Mars Hill … Also registered 10 tackles (4 solo) against Tusculum … Turned in an assist on a tackle at Elizabeth City State, but also recorded an interception … Tallied seven tackles (4 solo) and a quarterback hurry in the season finale at Carson-Newman … Broke up a pass in the win over Lenoir-Rhyne.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Played in all 12 games … Totaled 35 tackles (26 solo), including 1-1/2 tackles for loss (-5 yards) … Also turned in an assist on a sack (-1 yard), one fumble recovery, two interceptions and a pair of pass break-ups … Registered multiple tackles in nine games, including a season-best six stops (3 solo) against Catawba … Grabbed a season-best five solo stops at West Virginia State … Logged an assist on a 1-yard sack against Fayetteville State … Tallied interceptions against both Winston-Salem State and Kentucky Wesleyan.
 
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015): Played in five games … Registered 10 tackles (6 solo), one interception and a fumble recovery … Tallied a season-best six tackles (3 solo) at North Alabama and turned in three tackles (2 solo) and a fumble recovery at Catawba.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Redshirted. Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Southern Durham High School for coach Adrian Jones … Earned all-conference nods as a prep senior after tallying 85 tackles, seven interceptions and 10 pass break-ups … Helped lead Spartans to a 14-2 record and the state championship … Was honored with team defensive most valuable player honors, while also captaining Southern Durham as a senior … Registered 55 tackles as a junior.

PERSONAL: The son of Brenda and Gregory Manns … Has an older brother, Christopher, and an older sister, Bre’una … Maintained a 3.1 cumulative grade point average at Southern Durham High School and graduated in the top half of his 46-member senior class … A mass communications major at UNCP.
