HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Purnell Swett High School for coach John Sherman … Earned second-straight all-conference nods as a senior after amassing 84 tackles (60 solo), including 20 tackles for loss … Also added nine sacks and 11 quarterback hurries, as well as two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and five pass break-ups … Also blocked a field goal attempt … Named one of North Carolina’s best high school defensive players at season’s end … Registered 61 tackles (35 solo) as a junior, including five tackles for loss … Also turned in six sacks, three forced fumbles and a pass break-up … Also lettered in basketball for the Rams.
