HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Purnell Swett High School for coach Mark Heil … Earned preseason all-state, as well as his second-straight all-conference, all-region and all-district honors, as a prep senior after rushing for 1,400 yards and 21 touchdowns … Was decorated with conference player of the year laurels after a junior season that saw him rush for 1,897 yards and 25 scores … Led Rams to state playoff appearance in each of last two seasons.

PERSONAL: The son of Letecia and Marvin Locklear … Has three sisters – Anna, Louise and Logan … A physical education major at UNCP.
