AS A SOPHOMORE (2017): Played in seven games … Caught two passes for 12 yards … Caught a 7-yard pass at Concord, and tallied a 5-yard reception in the following game against Lenoir-Rhyne … Also made two tackles on special teams, including a solo stop at Mars Hill.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2016): Played in two games … Tallied one tackle – a solo stop at Tuskegee … Also saw time against North Greenville.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Redshirted … Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at D.H. Conley High School for coach Brian Pascal … Earned all-county and all-conference laurels as a senior after registering 104 tackles … Helped lead the Vikings to a first-round upset of Triton in the state playoffs – the first playoff victory for D.H. Conley in 15 years.

PERSONAL: The son of Keesha and Ricardo Gamble … Has a younger brother, Isaiah … A criminal justice major at UNCP.
