HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Charlotte Country Day School for coach Drew Whitman … Earned second-straight all-conference, all-state and offensive player of the year honors as a senior after rushing for 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns on 149 carries (7.0 yards/carry) … Also caught five passes for 15 yards … Returned four kicks for 103 yards (25.8 yards/return) and returned three punts for 61 yards (20.3 yards/return) … Logged seven 100+-yard rushing games, including a 203-yard, 4-touchdown day against High Point Christian Academy … Ran for 1,304 yards and 12 touchdowns on 170 carries (7.7 yards/carry) as a junior … Hauled in 10 catches for 93 yards as well … Also returned one kickoff for 63 yards … Tallied six 100+-yard rushing performances, including a pair of 200+-yard games … Also lettered in track & field for the Buccaneers … Earned an all-state award during the indoor track & field season, while also taking home two all-conference tags during the outdoor portion of the schedule.
