2009 (JUNIOR): Earned second team all-NCAA Independent honors from D2Football.com … Played in all 11 games for UNCP with three starts to his credit … Rushed 148 times for 784 yards (5.2 avg.) and six touchdowns … Also caught three passes for 46 yards (15.3 avg.) … Ranked third on team with 767 total offensive yards (69.7/game) … Finished 85th nationally with 65.5 rushing yards per game … Tallied a pair of 100-yard rushing efforts in road outings with Fayetteville State and Concord … Scored at least one touchdown against five different opponents, including a pair of scores at Frostburg State … Registered a season-high 121 all-purpose yards and a touchdown in UNCP’s season-opening win at Fayetteville State, including 101 rushing yards (17 carries) … Nearly touched the 100-yard plateau again against Lane, running 17 times for 92 yards, including a season-long 32-yard run in the third quarter … Ran for a season-best 112 yards on 19 carries in the win at Concord.
