HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Southwest Guilford High School for coach Eric Rainey … Earned all-conference and all-area awards as a prep senior after accounting for 2,497 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns … Tallied 819 receiving yards (50 catches) and 685 rushing yards (125 attempts) … Also logged 38 tackles and three interceptions on the defensive side of the ball … Named Bob Sawyer Offensive Player of the Year and team most valuable player … Earned all-conference accolades as a junior at High Point Christian Academy for coach Steve Lechner … Registered nine interceptions as a defensive back, while also registering 2,150 all-purpose yards … Also lettered in basketball at both schools.
