HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Tarboro High School for coach Jeff Craddock … Helped lead Vikings to a perfect 16-0 record and their second-straight 2A state championship as a prep senior … Earned all-conference and best offensive tackle laurels after anchoring an offensive line that paved the way for a team that averaged 40 points per game … Led team in both pancake blocks and grade … Earned most improved accolades in helping to lead the Vikings to a state championship as a junior … Part of a Tarboro squad that compiled a 31-1 record during his final two prep seasons.

PERSONAL: The son of Debbie and Albert Telfair was born on June 19, 1993 … Has three brothers – Earl, Keydrick and Alex – and one sister, Lataunya … Maintained a 3.4 cumulative grade point average at Tarboro High School and graduated in the top 11 percent of his 176-member senior class … A chemistry major at UNCP.
