HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Hunt High School for coach Randy Raper … Earned all-conference, all-area and defensive player of the year honors after logging 91 tackles as a prep senior, including 11 tackles for loss … Also recorded seven sacks and five blocked kicks … Also caught eight passes for 116 yards … Helped lead Warriors to a 13-1 record and a deep run in the state playoffs … Earned all-conference laurels as a junior as well after turning in 86 tackles, including nine sacks … Also forced a pair of fumbles … Also lettered in track & field for the Warriors.

PERSONAL: The son of Teresa and Joe Sharpe … Has two brothers, Tyrell and Tyrese, and two sisters, Dickita and Cin’kea … A sports management major at UNCP.
