AS A SOPHOMORE (2019): Played in all 11 games … Caught 36 passes (2^nd team) for 333 yards (9.2 yards/catch) and two touchdowns … Tallied two or more receptions nine times … Also logged a trio of rushing attempts (-4 yards). Winston-Salem State: Targeted seven times … registered three catches for 29 yards, while also tallying two rush attempts for seven yards … cashed in on a 7-yard rush to lead off UNCP’s scoring drive that bridged the first and second quarters. Virginia State: Targeted four times … logged three receptions for 24 yards … caught passes on consecutive plays (17 yards) on a drive late in the second quarter. Catawba: Targeted four times … caught three passes for 30 yards. Limestone: Targeted 11 times … matched a season-best with seven receptions for a season-high 84 yards … matched a season-longest catch with a 20-yard reception on UNCP’s scoring drive midway through second quarter … also tallied four other receptions that resulted in gains of 10 or more yards. Carson-Newman: Targeted four times … caught two balls for 14 yards. Mars Hill: Targeted six times … tallied three catches for 18 yards and one touchdown … hauled in a 17-yard reception to begin a drive in the second quarter … capped an 8-play, 69-yard drive with a 5-yard touchdown reception late in the first half. #13 Wingate: Targeted nine times … matched a season-best with seven receptions for 59 yards … matched a season-longest catch with a 20-yard reception in third quarter that set up the first touchdown for the Braves … caught three passes for 20 yards to fuel a touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter. Elizabeth City State: Targeted four times …tallied three receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown … also turned in a 9-yard run … caught two balls for 23 yards, including a 12-yard scoring reception, to highlight a drive early in the second quarter. HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Rocky River High School for coach Jason Fowler … Earned second-straight all-conference and team offensive most valuable player laurels as a senior after accounting for 2,393 all-purpose yards and 24 touchdowns … Threw for 1,644 yards and 15 touchdowns on 147-of-245 passing, while also rushing for 720 yards and nine additional scores on 127 carries … Was also an all-conference in performer in indoor and outdoor track & field for the Ravens … Earned team most valuable player honors in both indoor and outdoor track & field as well.
