AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Played in six games … Caught two passes for 18 yards … Registered 9-yard receptions in the season opener against Winston-Salem State and the home win over Lenoir-Rhyne.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Newton-Conover High School for coach Matt Beam … Earned all-conference, defensive lineman of the year and All O-N-E team recognition after turning in 65 tackles, including 23 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks … Also lettered in basketball, baseball and track & field at Newton-Conover.
 
PERSONAL: The son of Danielle Eller and Lamont Summers … Has one older sister, Makenzie, and two younger sisters, Ivy and Veyah … Maintains a 4.1 cumulative grade point average at Newton-Conover High School … Lists his mother as his hero … Favorite food is steak … Plans on majoring in engineering at UNCP.
