HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at West Bladen High School for coach Joe Salas … Earned all-conference and all-county honors as a prep senior after throwing for 1,801 yards and 10 touchdowns on 168-of-330 (.509) passing … Also rushed for 271 yards and four touchdowns on 99 carries … Broke state single-game passing records for both passing attempts and completions with a 39-for-58, 447-yard, 3-TD performance against Terry Sanford in the season finale ... Also lettered in basketball for the Knights.
