HIGH SCHOOL: Raked in all-conference, all-region and conference player of the year laurels as a senior after averaging 13.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 2.2 assists per game in leading R.J. Reynolds High School to a 23-5 record and the second round of the state playoffs … Shot 63 percent from the field over the course of his final prep campaign and turned in six double-doubles, while also scoring 10 or more points in 15 contests … Also recorded four or more blocks on five occasions … Averaged 11.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.2 blocks and 2.1 assists per outing as a junior.
