HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Pine Forest High School for coach David May … Played AAU basketball for the Carolina Force and coach Rodney Scott … Averaged 23 points, 4.9 assists, 5.1 steals and 2.3 rebounds per game as a prep senior in pacing the Trojans to their best record in school history (29-2) and a deep run in the state playoffs … Earned conference, region and district player of the year laurels … Also garnered all-region, all-district and all-state accolades … Grabbed most valuable player honors at the Holiday Classic after leading Pine Forest to the tournament title … Scored 20 points or better on 23 occasions, including a season-best 36 points in a 14-point win Jack Britt … Also shot nearly 40 percent from the perimeter and drained at least one 3-point attempt in all but one of his outings … Averaged 12.2 points, 5.1 assists and 3.2 steals as a junior en route to all-conference nods … Tallied 21.2 points and 7.1 assists per game with the North Carolina Force and helped lead the organization to its third-straight USSSA state championship.
