Laney High School for coach Eric Davis … Earned all-conference, all-area, all-district and Coastal Preps Player of the Year laurels as a senior, while also etching his name into his program’s 1,000-point Club … Also raked in MEC Participant of the Year honors … Averaged 13.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.2 assists an outing in his final prep season … Connected on nearly 52 percent of his field goal attempts, while also draining 73 percent of his free throw attempts … Scored 10 or more points in 18 contests … Registered 10 or more made free throws in a trio of outings, including an 11-for-12 night from the charity stripe against South Brunswick … Scored 15 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in the season opener with Pender – the first of eight double-doubles on the season … Tallied 14.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 1.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per game as a junior … Earned conference player of the year recognition as a junior as well … Played AAU basketball coach Flight 22 and coach Cee Edwards.
