AS A SENIOR (2018-19): Redshirted … Did not see game action.

AS A JUNIOR AT NC STATE (2017-18): Played in five games … Averaged 2.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 55 minutes of playing time … Also notched three assists, two steals and one block … Recorded season-bests in both points (7) and minutes (18) against South Carolina State, while also finishing with four rebounds as well … Turned in two points and a season-best five rebounds in 16 minutes of action against Jacksonville … Played eight minutes in the loss at Notre Dame.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE AT NC STATE (2016-17): Played in 14 games … Recorded 25 points (1.8/game), 13 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 64 minutes of playing time … Tallied season-bests for both points (six) and minutes (13) against McNeese State, while also recording three rebounds, an assist and one steal … Connected on 3-pointers against Creighton, North Carolina and Virginia … Turned in a season-best three rebounds against McNeese State and Virginia.
 
AS A FRESHMAN AT NC STATE (2015-16): Played in 14 games … Registered 10 points, two steals and one block in 57 minutes of playing time … Scored first collegiate points on an alley-oop dunk against IUPUI … Connected on first career 3-pointer at South Florida … Played a season-high eight minutes at Duke and at Notre Dame … Registered steals against both Michigan and Syracuse … Tacked up a block in ACC Tournament against Duke.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Whiteville High School for coach Jerry Singletary, Shaun averaged 18.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.0 blocks per game as a senior in leading the Wolfpack to a 20-6 record. Along the way, he shot better than 56 percent from the field, including a 39 percent success rate from the perimeter, and registered 44 assists an outing as well. He participated in the East/West All-Star Game following the conclusion of his senior season as well.
 
PERSONAL: The son of Sherry and Neal Kirk has three sisters – Shannon, Jacqueline and Kayla – and two brothers, Tyrell and Reginald. He is a social work major at UNCP.
