HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Chiles High School under coach Scott Gowan … Lettered in cross country and track and field … As a senior, he was named to the all-Big Bend team for the second-consecutive year and helped the team to become 3A state champions in cross country … Competed in the 400m dash (59 seconds), 800m run (2:14), 1600m run (4:45), 3200m run (10:04) and 5000m run (16:15) … In his junior campaign, the team became state runners-up in cross country and state champions in cross country … Dropped time in each event from junior to senior year.

The son of Kim and Robert Thomas … Has an older sister, Carly, and a younger brother, Cole … Graduated with a 3.6 grade point average and in the top quarter of his class … Was an eight-time athletic scholar and member of the academic high honor roll and National Honor Society … Garnered the Pride of the Pack leadership award … A philosophy major at UNCP.
