Fired seven shots on goal and scored one game-winning goal to lead team to a 7-7-2 record ... As a freshman, she started all 17 games to lead the squad to an 11-6 record.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Southern Nash High School under coaches Kurt Beinas and Carlos Barron ... As a junior, she was named the team's Most Improved Player after an ACL tear in 2015 ... Also named second-team all-conference ... As a senior, she was named Best Defensive Player and led the team to the state playoffs ... Also played for the TRYSA Fusion for coach Carl Taylor.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Fidel Cantera Hernandez and Maria Leonor Gonzalez ... Has one older brother, Miguel, an older sister, Gabriela, and one younger sister, Aracely ... Graduated high school with a 3.68 GPA and was a member of the BETA Club, Tri-M Club and the SADD Club ... Enjoys writing, running, sleeping and shopping for others ...
