Prepped at Western Harnett High School for coach Dakota Hicks … Earned a pair of team awards as a senior, including MVP and Most Versatile laurels … Also earned both team awards as a junior … Registered a personal best 5.11 meters on the way to winning the conference championship as a senior … Also won event titles in the long jump at two other meets … Turned in a personal best time of 29.64 seconds in placing runner-up in the 200-meter Dash at a March quad meet … Also ran a leg on both the 4x100- and 4x200-meter relay squads … Posted indoor personal bests of 8.24 seconds in the 55-meter Dash, 9.30 meters in the shot put, 1.5 meters in the high jump, 5.0 meters in the long jump and 10.69 meters in the triple jump … Also lettered in basketball for the Eagles.
