Played in 29 matches and 80 sets with five starts ... Third on the team with 240 digs and 3.00 digs per set ... Racked up 23 assists and 21 service aces ... Fourth on the team with a .936 serve perventage ... Tallied a season-high 33 digs against Belmont Abbey.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014)
PBC Presidential Honor Roll ... As a defensive specialist, she played in 38 matches, including 14 starts to her credit with 140 sets played … Was fourth on the team in digs with 326, including 2.33 digs per set … Totaled four kills on nine attempts … Dished out 30 assists and led on the team with 43 service aces for a .928 service percentage … Had double-digit digs in 15 matches, including a career-high 21 in the win over Elizabeth City State … Logged seven service aces against Elizabeth City State, and four assists against Georgia College in November.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010)
As a defensive specialist, she played in eight matches for UNCP … In those 14 sets, she posted four total attempts, one assist, four service aces, 20 digs, 1.43 digs per set and four points … Collected a personal best six digs against Barton, five against Brenau and four against Elizabeth City State … Totaled three service aces for three points against Bluefield State and an additional point on a service ace against Elizabeth City State.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Scotland High School under coach David Barnes … Lettered in volleyball and soccer for four years … As a senior, she assisted her team to a 24-2 record and to becoming back-to-back Mid-Southeastern 4A Conference Champions … Was named co-team MVP and Southeastern Conference Co-Player of the Year … Notched 49 service aces, a 76 percent passing percentage, 248 digs, four school records in service points (704), services aces (185), passing percentage (74 percent) and passing attempts (2,213) … Won the coaches award as a senior and assisted her team to a 25-1 record to advance to the state championship … Also played club volleyball for the Scotland Spikers under coach Raymond Dean … Was the Mid-Southeastern All-Conference player and Best Offensive Player in soccer, as well as Female Athlete of the Year as a senior.

The daughter of Sua and Ka Ying Yang … Has three brothers, Adam, Nickolas and Alexander … Ranked 18th out of her senior class with a 3.0 grade point average … A member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club and HOSA … Was a Scots on a Roll … A nursing major at UNCP.
