Played at Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Fla. … The Hurricanes went 43-12 over her final two seasons winning the city championship and district championship her senior year … Anderson reached the 1,000 kill mark for her career during her senior campaign … Her senior year she tallied 206 kills and 15 blocks while recording 321 kills, 16 blocks, 265 digs, 92 service points and 20 aces her junior year … During her career she was named the Gainesville Sun’s Player of the Week, ESPN Sports Radio Athlete of the Week and Beef O’Brady’s Player of the Month … A four-year letter-winner in volleyball and a two-time letter-winner in basketball, she was voted All-Area in volleyball four times while also earning All-Area honors in basketball twice including an All-State selection.
