COLUMBUS, Ga. – Eighth-ranked Columbus State scored a pair of goals in each half and limited the visiting UNC Pembroke women's soccer team to just three first-half shots to finish off an unbeaten conference slate with a 4-0 win over the Braves on Saturday at the Walden Soccer Complex.
The setback relegated the Braves (8-8-1, 6-4-1 PBC) to a Tuesday road game at Georgia College (9-7-2, 7-4-0) in the quarterfinal round of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. Kickoff time for Tuesday's contest at Bobcat Field has yet to be announced.
