GAME REPLAY
SET 1 I 21-25 The Braves scored seven-straight points to knot the opening set up at 15 apiece, but Flagler responded with four-straight points to take the lead for good. Blocks by Kaila Crowder and Ashley Caesar pulled the Black & Gold to within one (22-21) late, but the Saints tacked up the final three points, including two on attack errors by the hosts.
SET 2 I 25-18 UNCP hit a match-best .323 in the second set to even things back up on the night. UNCP trailed 7-6 after Karlie Redfern's kill midway through, but a kill from Aquia Jones moments later sparked the Black & Gold on a 10-3 run and Flagler was never within four points the rest of the way out.
SET 3 I 14-25 The Saints hit .338 in the third set, and benefited from seven attack errors by the Braves as well. A kill by Aquia Jones pulled the Braves to within two points, 12-10, midway through, but the visitors put together an 11-3 run to forge some separation, and then used a service ace by Kayla Norelli to seal the set.
SET 4 I 25-23 The Braves led 20-15 after a kill from Elly Hicks, but Flagler clawed their way back into the set and eventually used three-straight kills to knot the set back up at 22 apiece. With the match even at 23 points apiece, the hosts forced a match-deciding fifth set on a kill by Aquia Jones, as well as an ensuing attack error by the Saints.
SET 5 I 11-15 Flagler hit nearly .300 and tallied a trio of blocks to key a win in the fifth set. Shannon Skryd's kill evened things up midway through the final set, but the Saints tacked up the next four points to grab all of the momentum. The Braves managed to tie things back up at 11 apiece on an attack error by the Saints, but Flagler won each of the next four points to clinch the evening.
