Soccer Picks Up Road Win At Clayton State

MORROW, Ga. – Junior Paula Valbuena found the back of the net twice, including her first score that came just 51 seconds into the contest, to fuel the UNC Pembroke soccer team to a 3-1 victory at Clayton State on Sunday afternoon.

It was the sixth road win of the season for the Braves (9-3-0, 4-2-0 PBC) who have now won the last six meetings against Clayton State. The Lakers (5-4-1, 2-3-1 PBC) have won just once in their last five outings, and have not beaten the Black & Gold since posting a 3-0 shutout on Sept. 27, 2014.

SCORING SUMMARY
