PEMBROKE – A 72

Maya Grimes proved to be the game's only goal as the UNC Pembroke soccer team rallied behind its defense again to post a 1-0 victory over Georgia Southwestern on Saturday afternoon at Lumbee River EMC Stadium.
The victory kept Braves (11-3-0, 6-2-0 PBC) perfect in the 14-game-old series with the Hurricanes – a stretch that includes 12 shutouts as well. The result kept Georgia Southwestern (3-11-1, 0-8-0 PBC) searching for its first PBC road victory since 2010.
