YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. –
Alexis Pittman and
Rilee Seering each netted first half goals to help support a smothering defensive effort by the UNC Pembroke soccer team as the Braves closed out the regular season with a 2-0 win at Young Harris on Friday afternoon.
The result marked a school-record eighth road victory for the Braves (14-4-0, 8-3-0 PBC) who moved to 8-3-0 away from Lumbee River EMC Stadium this season. The Mountain Lions (6-10-0, 5-6-0 PBC) fell to 0-9-0 all-time in the series with the Black & Gold.
