KANNAPOLIS – The UNC Pembroke baseball team sent its entire order to the plate en route to tacking up a 6-spot in the second inning, but Queens rallied all the way back and eventually pushed across the winning run on an error in the bottom of the eighth to stun the Braves, 8-7, on Wednesday afternoon at Intimidators Stadium.
The setback was the seventh-straight road loss for the Braves (8-10). The Royals (5-11) have now strung together consecutive victories for the first time this season.
