Six Straight! Volleyball Shuts Out Converse

FLORENCE, S.C. – Senior Anna Heinz became the latest addition to the UNC Pembroke volleyball team's 1,000-Dig Club and the Braves matched the program's longest win streak in 25 years with a 3-0 blanking of Converse on Saturday afternoon at the FMU Invitational.

The victory marked the sixth-straight triumph for the Braves (6-2) who joined both the 2001 and 2013 clubs for the longest win streak in 25 years. The setback kept the Valkyries (0-8) off the board in the series, while also keeping Converse winless in the still-young season.
