LEXINGTON, VA. – Jamar Adams captured a first place finish in the 60-meter Dash as well as the 200-meter Dash to highlight the men's action on Saturday at the Keydet Invitational at the Corps Physical Training Facility.
Darrin Elmore logged a personal-best mark in the Triple Jump that was also good enough for a first place finish, while
Jathan DeBerry placed first in the 60-meter Hurdles and finished runner-up in the High Jump.
On the women's side,
Aly Hudspeth claimed an event title in the High Jump, while newcomer
Savannah Watkins placed third in both the Long Jump and 60-meter Hurdles.
The teams combined for a total of 22 personal-best marks.
The Braves will nearly two weeks off before returning to action on January 29 when they travel to Salem, Virginia, for the Roanoke Invitational Challenge. The meet will begin at 12 p.m. at the Cregger Center.
