ROANOKE, VA. - Quanterra Harrison recorded a first place finish and broke a school record in the 60-meter Hurdles to highlight the women's action on Friday at the Roanoke Invitational Challenge at the Cregger Center.
Harrison's 60-meter Hurdle time of 8.86 broke Jeanna Cube's record by 11 seconds that was set in 2018.
Aly Hudspeth (High Jump),
Raigan Evans (Shot Put),
Micaiah Darity (Triple Jump),
Erman Jepleting (1-Mile Run), and
Dy'Air McCormick (200m Dash, 60m Dash) all claimed first place finishes as well.
On the men's side,
Orlandus Gamble set a new personal-best in the High Jump for an event title.
Brandon Boyles (Shot Put),
Jathan DeBerry (60m Hurdles), and
Delsin Burkhart (800m-Run) all also added event titles in their respective events.
The Braves will be back in action next Friday when they travel to Lynchburg, Va., for the Brant Tolsma Invitational. The first event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
