Daggett, Shaffer Move Through To Sunday’s Action At Midwest Classic

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Nick Daggett (125 pounds) and Zach Shaffer (285) both had their unblemished runs spoiled in the quarterfinal round of their respective tournaments, but both wrestlers will look to make runs through the consolation brackets when action resumes on Saturday at the 42nd Annual Midwest Classic.
 
Daggett will face Davenport's Manuel Leija in the consolation in the third round of the 125-pound consolation tournament on Sunday, while Shaffer will lock arms with Lindenwood's Michael Kramer in the consolation portion of the heavyweight tournament.

Sunday's wrestling action is scheduled to get underway at 9:30 a.m. ET.
