MOUNT OLIVE – Quanterra Harrison and
Erman Jepleting each claimed event titles to highlight action for the track & field teams on Saturday afternoon at the Adidas Trojan Challenge hosted by Mount Olive at Ray McDonald Sr. Track & Field Complex.
Harrison's 14.18 time in the 100-meter Hurdles was a personal-best time as well as an NCAA provisional qualifying time. Jepleting broke an 18-year school record and captured a first-place finish in the 1500-meter Run with a time of 4:45.27.
On the men's side,
Preston Coker's 10.69 time in the 100-meter dash was good enough for a runner-up finish, while
Brandon Boyles (Shot Put) and
Jeffrey Gunter (110-meter Hurdles) both finished fourth in their respective events.
The Braves will trek to Daytona Beach, Fla., next weekend for the Spikes Classic hosted by Embry-Riddle. The two day meet will be held at the ERAU Track Complex.
