DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – Erman Jepleting broke a week long school record in the 1500-meter Run to highlight the action on Friday evening at the Spikes Classic at the ERAU Track Complex.
Jepleting, who broke her own school record in the 1500-meter Run, finished first with a time of 4:39.34.
Valary Samoei also logged a first place finish in the 5000-meter Run with a personal-best time of 18:13.85.
On the men's side,
Joshua Chepkesir won the 10000-meter Run in a time of 30:16.41.
Silus Kipkoech placed third in the 5000-meter run with a time of 15:19.79, while
Delsin Burkhart also finished in third place in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.46.
The Braves will close out weekend competition on Saturday at the Spikes Classic. The first event is scheduled to begin at 11:35 a.m. at the ERAU Track Complex.
