INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Quanterra Harrison,
Jamar Adams,
Orlandus Gamble,
Caleb Baldwin and
Preston Coker have all punched their tickets to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships which are set to begin on Thursday, May 27, in Allendale, Mich., at the GVSU Lacrosse/Track & Field Stadium.
The announcement marks the first time since the 2018 season that the program has sent multiple athletes to the NCAA Championships. It is the most national qualifiers for the program since the Braves traveled seven student-athletes (6 men, 1 woman) to the 2010 event.
Harrison, a first-time qualifier, currently holds the second-fastest time in NCAA Division II for the 100-meter Hurdles with a mark of 13.63 seconds. Harrison broke school records in both the 100 and 400-meter Hurdles this season.
Adams, Gamble, Baldwin and Coker will be competing as a team in the 4x100-meter Relay and hold the 10
th-fastest time in the nation. The relay squad is the first relay team to compete on the national stage since the 2010 campaign.
Gamble, an All-American and national qualifier during the indoor season, will also be competing in the High Jump. Gamble's Peach Belt Conference record leap of 2.11-meters ranks 13
th in the nation.
