The Braves hit .419 at the net and committed just two attack errors in the opening frame, but had to lean on a late-set rally to grab the evening's early advantage. The Crusaders used a Kasie Thomas kill to stake claim to a 19-13 advantage, but UNCP captured six of the next seven points to climb back into the set, and then claimed five of the last six points to prevail. |

UNCP tallied just nine kills in the second set, but rode the momentum of five blocks and six service aces to a two-set lead in Hayes Gymnasium. The Crusaders led 10-7 after an attack error by the Braves, but Kaila Crowder's kill moments later sparked the visitors on an 8-1 run that gave them the lead for good. The hosts cut into their deficit with a kill from Kelli Davis, but the Black & Gold closed out the set with a 10-1 run to rake in all of the momentum. |

North Greenville finally got on the board in set three, taking advantage of eight attack errors by the Braves to coast to a 25-21 win. The Crusaders forged a 16-10 advantage following one of those attack errors, but the visitors whittled away at their deficit and eventually evened up the set at 19 points apiece. The Crusaders would not be deterred, however, and used two-straight points after that to take the lead for good. |

The hosts were on the cusp of forcing a deciding fifth set, but a final jolt by UNCP closed out the night. UNCP led 23-17 after a kill from Brianna Warren, but North Greenville raked in seven of the next eight points and eventually knotted the score up at 24 points apiece. Consecutive points by the hosts gave them a short-lived 27-26 lead, but the Braves tacked up three-straight points, including a kill from Kaila Crowder, to wrap the night in Black & Gold. |
