FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Avery Buonocore (141 pounds) and 6th-ranked Keegan Roberson (157) each won their semifinal matches, but fell just short in their championship matches Saturday on the final day of the Citrus Invitational. 

133 pounder Logan Robinson took home third place honors, while Massimo Sullivan finished fourth in the 285 pound bracket. Christopher Dickey and Garrett Steele each placed fifth, at 184 and 197 pounds, respectively. Chance Cottingham (133), Nick Williams (165), and Nick Minacapelli (285) all took sixth place, while Joshua Feliz (141) and Will Lowery (165) both finished eighth to round out the Black and Gold's top eight finishers.

The Braves racked up 128.5 team points to finish third out of 14 teams.
 
The Braves will kick off 2024 on Tuesday, January 2, as they head to Newberry, S.C. to take on Newberry in a Conference Carolinas dual match. Wrestling action is set to begin at 7 p.m. inside Eleazer Arena.
