Football Sack To Give Back Presentation 2025

Athletics Wraps Up Food Lion Football Campaign For 2025 Season

November 21, 2025

PEMBROKE – The impact for UNC Pembroke football program extended beyond the field this season thanks to the UNC Pembroke athletics department's partnership with Food Lion Sack To Give Back Program.

The Black & helped donate 14,000 meals to the Taley & Jordan Hunt Braves Resource Center. During the Braves final regular season home game, Food Lion presented a check for the 14,000 meals.

Food Lion will now partner with the UNC Pembroke men's basketball team for the Score To Give More campaign. For every free throw that is made at home, the Food Lion Feeds program will donate 100 meals to our partners in need.
